Aviv Efrat

Co-Founder and CEO

Aviv Efrat has been Co-Founder and CEO of SpringHill Investment Administration, LLC since 2021. Mr. Efrat was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of PNNT and PFLT from 2007 and 2010. Mr. Efrat was also a Managing Director of PennantPark Investment Administration, LLC from 2007 to 2021. Mr. Efrat has over 30 years of accounting, tax, finance and operations experience. Mr. Efrat was a Director at BlackRock, Inc., where he was responsible for a variety of administrative, operational, and financial aspects of closed-end and open-end registered investment companies, from 1997 to 2007. Mr. Efrat was in the Investment Companies Business Unit at Deloitte from 1994 to 1997.

Mr. Efrat earned his BS in Finance and Accounting from Brigham Young University, and his MBA from New York University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

James Kong

Co-Founder and COO

 James Kong has been Co-Founder and COO of SpringHill Investment Administration, LLC since 2021. Mr. Kong was a managing director at BlackRock, Inc., the world’s largest global asset manager from 1989 to 2019. During his 30-year career at Blackrock, Mr. Kong was responsible for business operations, including fund accounting, portfolio administration, portfolio compliance, investment operations, data and valuation, and was the head of BlackRock’s Fund Administration. Mr. Kong was with First Boston, Inc. from 1987 to 1989 and with Deloitte from 1983 to 1987.

Mr. Kong earned his BS in Accounting from Brooklyn College.
